You can access such a report from Workflow Admin –> Reports.
It has two tabs –
In Workflow – Shows what’s currently in a workflow
Not In Workflow – Shows what’s currently not in a workflow. It excludes published articles.
Reports – What’s in the workflow
If you have a lot of articles flowing through various workflows, a report that shows what’s in and not-in a workflow would help you to prioritize your work.
